This eco-towns update follows the end of the first stage of the consultation on the eco-towns programme. It sets out the proposed criteria and planning process for eco-towns, provides an updated list of locations and where to find out more about the proposals, sets out how the second stage of consultation will work and describes the work underway to assess the proposals across Government and with local authorities and other partners.
