This document discusses how to modernise the role of the executive in Britain's system of governance. It looks at options to make both the executive, and Parliament, more accountable to the people and to reinvigorate Britain's democracy. The Government will engage people around the country in a discussion on citizenship and British values and will be conducting a series of events around the UK to gain as much input as possible.
